For the next few months, this blog will document the making of this 20" B20 bronze ride cymbal. This cymbal in its current state is merely a blank, cast from turkish bronze in a foundry owned and operated by some of the oldest and most experienced metallurgist cymbal masters in istanbul. yes, this material is quite remarkable. entries will be made and posted by myself and my other two joining craftsmen, Dave collingwood and Craig Lauritsen.
